The McGill Debating Union hosts two annual tournaments: the McGill High School Debating Tournament, the largest secondary school debating tournament in Canada, held in the Fall, and McGill Winter Carnival, one of the most prestigious Canadian Parliamentary tournaments of the year, with competitors from across North America. This year, the McGill Debating Union is also hosting CUSID’s Central Novice Championship, the first tournament of the year which draws an exceptionally large group of debaters, young and old, from across Ontario and Québec.
There are numerous ways to become as a sponsor. Whether you’d like to make a direct contribution, or contribute to the tournament in more material ways, such as by providing food for one or more of our many meals, or helping us cover the cost of rooms on campus, you can be assured that you will find not only a beneficial partnership with the Union, but also a fantastic opportunity to gain access to a large group of young, diverse and motivated students.
