We are the McGill Debating Union!
Currently ranked 9th in the world according to the Worlds Universities Debating Council, our club is the most competitively successful university debating organization in Canada. We are the current defending North American and Canadian National Champions, having won both tournaments in the 2013/14 academic year.
Our Monday and Thursday meetings are designed to train all skill levels, from no debating experience to years of competitive debate success. We accept new members all throughout the year, and we love welcoming new people!
